It was a little over a year ago that I found out my dad was sick. By the time we realized how sick he actually was, he was really starting to look it--he was yellow and starting cancer treatments, which left him thin and just downright sickly. After his funeral, we looked for pictures of him, healthy and vibrant, preferably with the kids, and I realized those pictures just didn't really exist. We didn't take advantage of the time before he became so ill to take pictures of every day, mundane activities. That's why, this Mother's Day, as a gift to our moms, we decided to give them the gift of some professional pictures, capturing the love their grandchildren have for them.
I cannot say enough good things about our photographer. I wish I could say that I am completely objective in this praise, but really, I'm not. Allyson, from Sweet Pea Photography, is a good friend of mine, who has walked with me through several life struggles. However, I will say I knew her as a photographer before I knew her as a friend, if that makes my praise any more objective! She's just awesome!
The pictures we arranged for our moms are now viewable, so if you are interested you are welcome to look at our proofs for a limited time. Just go to this link and click on the top, where it says "clients." The album name is mcmurry. Then, just sit back and enjoy the slide show!
I know Allyson's summer schedule is open, so if you are interested in booking a session with her, just email her or check her website for available dates. You won't regret it!
